Plani Log Privacy Policy
SY_888 (the "Developer") values the personal information of everyone who uses the Plani Log (Planilog) app on Android and iPhone (the "Service") and complies with applicable data protection laws, including the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea.
1. Purpose of Processing Personal Information
Plani Log processes personal information only for the following purposes. If a purpose changes, we will ask for your consent in advance.
- Easy sign-in and user identification via Google account or Apple account
- Schedule synchronization with your phone's calendar (Google Calendar, Samsung Calendar, iPhone Calendar, Naver Calendar, etc.)
- Keeping your to-dos the same as a list in Apple Reminders (iPhone) or Google Tasks (Android), only when you turn it on
- Providing the Shared Calendar (Group Room) service, syncing data between members, and sending new-schedule and "poke" notifications
- Cloud backup and restore
- AI scheduling (turning a sentence you type or say into a schedule)
- Adding booking confirmations from notifications to your calendar (Android), only when you turn it on
- Updating the focus timer on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island (iPhone)
- Verifying paid subscriptions (Premium) and managing access to premium features
- Showing personalized ads (free version users only)
2. Personal Information We Process
We process only the minimum information needed to provide the Service.
- When you sign in: your Google account email address and name (including profile photo), or your Apple account email address and name (if you choose Apple's "Hide My Email", the relay address Apple provides)
- Calendar data: events in the device calendars you choose to connect (read/write)
- Reminders and Google Tasks data, only when you turn on the sync: the title, notes, due date, priority (Reminders only) and completion status of the items in the one list the app creates for itself ("Plani Log")
- When you use Shared Calendar or Cloud Backup: group room information, shared events, stickers and photos, and backup files
- When you use AI scheduling: the sentence you type, or your speech after it has been turned into text
- Booking notifications, only when you turn on Import bookings automatically (Android): the text of notifications from the apps listed in Section 3, read on your device to find a booking's place, date and time
- When you use notifications: a device token used to deliver push notifications
- When you subscribe: an anonymous in-app customer ID and your purchase and subscription status (payment methods such as card details are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store; the Developer never receives them)
- Collected automatically: an advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID; on iPhone, the IDFA only if you allow "App Tracking") for personalized ads in the free version
Important (data storage): Your personal schedules and to-dos are stored on your device and in the calendar and task services you choose to connect (Google, iCloud, etc.). Only when you choose to use Shared Calendar, Cloud Backup, AI scheduling, or notifications is the data needed for that feature sent over encrypted connections to and stored on our cloud server (Google Firebase). Reminders, Google Tasks data and the notifications read for booking import never reach our servers.
3. Google Tasks, Apple Reminders and Booking Import
Google Tasks (Android, optional)
- Only when you turn on Sync with Google Tasks, the app asks Google for access to your tasks (the Google Tasks API scope
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/tasks), through Google's own consent window. - With that access, the app creates one task list named "Plani Log" and reads and writes only the tasks in that list: their title, notes, due date and completion status. It uses them only to keep that list and your to-dos in the app the same: what you add, tick, edit or delete on either side is followed on the other. It never reads your other task lists.
- The tasks go directly between your device and Google over encrypted connections. The Developer's servers never receive, store or see your Google Tasks data, and it is never used for advertising, never sold and never shared with anyone else.
- On your device, the app keeps only what it needs to pair each to-do with its task (the task's ID and the values both sides last agreed on).
- You can stop at any time: in the app, Side menu (☰) > Sync with Google Tasks > the bin icon. To take the access back, use your Google Account's Third-party apps & services page. Your tasks stay in Google Tasks, and your to-dos stay in the app.
Limited Use: Plani Log's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Apple Reminders (iPhone, optional)
- Only when you turn on Sync with Reminders, the app asks for access to Reminders. It creates one list named "Plani Log" and keeps its reminders (title, notes, due date, priority, completion) the same as your to-dos in the app.
- This happens on your iPhone (and in your iCloud, if your Reminders use it). The Developer never receives your reminders. You can stop at any time in the app (Side menu > Sync with Reminders) or take the access back in Settings.
Import bookings automatically (Android, optional)
- Only when you turn on Import bookings automatically and allow Plani Log "Notification access" in your phone's settings, the app looks at notifications posted by these apps only: Naver, Naver Mail, KakaoTalk, Samsung Messages, Google Messages, Messages, Gmail and Samsung Email. Notifications from any other app are ignored.
- Each of those notifications is read on your device only, to find a booking confirmation's place, date and time. When one is found, it is added to your calendar as a schedule with the confirmation's text in its memo, like a schedule you write yourself. Anything that is not a booking confirmation (and any cancellation) is forgotten at once.
- Notification text is never sent to the Developer's servers or anyone else, never used for advertising and never sold. To avoid adding one booking twice, the app keeps on your device only a short key (date, time and title) of the last 100 bookings it added.
- You can stop at any time: in the app, Side menu (☰) > Import bookings automatically, or take Notification access back in your phone's settings.
- On iPhone, no app can read other apps' notifications. If you set up a Shortcuts automation for it yourself, only the message text that automation hands to Plani Log is read, on your iPhone, in the same way.
4. Retention Period
- Data stored on your device is deleted immediately when you delete the app or clear its data.
- Data synced with a device calendar, Apple Reminders or Google Tasks follows that provider's (Google, Apple, etc.) privacy policy and is deleted when you delete it there.
- Account, shared calendar and backup data and notification tokens stored on our cloud server (Firebase) are permanently deleted without delay when you delete your account in the app or ask us to delete them.
- Sentences sent for AI scheduling are used only to create the schedule and are not kept by the Developer.
- Purchase and subscription records may be kept for the period required by law (such as consumer protection laws).
5. Sharing with Third Parties and Processors
We do not sell or give your personal information to others. To provide the Service, we use the following processors.
| Recipient | Purpose | Information |
|---|---|---|
| Google LLC (Firebase) | Sign-in, storing shared calendars and backups, push notifications, server features | Account information, shared and backup data, notification tokens |
| Google LLC (Gemini API) | Understanding AI scheduling sentences | The sentence you send |
| Google LLC (Google Tasks API) | Keeping your to-dos the same as your "Plani Log" task list, only when you turn it on (directly from your device; not through our servers) | Your to-dos' title, notes, due date and completion |

| RevenueCat, Inc. | Verifying subscriptions | Anonymous customer ID, purchase and subscription status |
| Apple Inc. | Sign in with Apple, App Store payments, iPhone push notifications, speech recognition | Sign-in information, payment information, notification tokens, voice (when using speech recognition) |
6. International Transfer of Personal Information
The processors above operate servers outside Korea, including in the United States. Personal information is transferred over encrypted connections when you use the related features.
- Recipients: Google LLC, RevenueCat, Inc., Apple Inc.
- Countries: the United States and other countries where their data centers are located
- Items and purposes: as listed in Section 5
- Retention: as described in Section 4 (until you delete your account or the processing agreement ends)

7. App Permissions
The app asks for the following permissions. Optional permissions can be declined and the rest of the app keeps working.
- Calendar (optional): to read events stored on your device and add new ones.
- Reminders (optional, iPhone): to keep your to-dos the same as the "Plani Log" list in Reminders.
- Google Tasks access (optional, Android): asked by Google's own window, to keep your to-dos the same as the "Plani Log" list in Google Tasks.
- Photos/Media (optional): for the photo diary, wallpapers and sticker images.
- Notifications (optional): for schedule, to-do and focus timer reminders, and Shared Calendar alerts.
- Microphone (optional): to say a schedule out loud in AI scheduling.
- Speech Recognition (optional, iPhone): to turn what you say into text with Apple's speech recognition. Your voice may be sent to Apple for this; Plani Log does not store recordings.
- App Tracking (optional, iPhone): only if you allow it, the advertising identifier (IDFA) is used for personalized ads.
- Face ID / Fingerprint (optional): for App Lock. Biometric data never leaves your device and the Developer never receives it.
- Display over other apps / Usage access (optional, Android): to block apps other than your allowed ones while the focus timer's "Strict Mode" is on.
- Notification access (optional, Android): to read booking confirmations from the apps listed in Section 3 and add them to your calendar, only while Import bookings automatically is on.
8. Your Rights
You may at any time ask to access, correct, delete or stop the processing of your personal information, and you may withdraw your consent. You can turn off personalized ads at any time in the app's "Ad Privacy Settings" or in your device settings (Android: delete the advertising ID; iPhone: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking).
9. Children's Privacy
Plani Log can be used by people of all ages, and the calendar features you use without signing in do not collect personal information. However, children under 14 (or the age of digital consent in your country) should use features that need personal information, such as sign-in, Shared Calendar and Cloud Backup, only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. If we learn that personal information of such a child was collected without that consent, we will delete it without delay, and a parent or guardian may ask to see or delete their child's information at any time.
10. Contact and Data Deletion Requests
If you have questions about privacy or want your data deleted, please use one of the following.
- In-app deletion: In the app, go to [Side menu (☰) > Delete Account] to permanently delete all of your cloud data and personal information at any time.
- Support email: sy888.help@gmail.com (send an email titled "Account Deletion Request" with the Google or Apple email address you signed in with, and we will delete it promptly)
- Privacy officer: SY_888 (sy888.help@gmail.com)
11. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy is effective from October 18, 2026 (the previous version took effect on October 13, 2026; this one adds Apple Reminders and Google Tasks sync and booking import). If it changes, we will let you know in advance through the app or this page.
